Is a Certified Life and Career Coach, a social entrepreneur and an advocate for social justice. She has received multiple awards and recognition both locally and internationally, for her work on integration, social inclusion, empowering women and community leadership since 2009.
Adaku holds two masters degrees, one in Development Studies and another in Business Administration, and also comes with a background in accounting.
She is the Founding Director of i-Smile International, a charitable organisation, set-up in 2013 and registered in Ireland & Nigeria to put smiles on the faces and in the hearts of vulnerable and marginalised women.
Adaku is also the founder of U-Fest, an intercultural event to celebrate diversity in Ireland. She sits on the board of management for a number of charity organisations and is part of several consultative forums in Ireland.
She has been involved with various community projects to help further promote women’s economic, political, cultural and social participation in Ireland and Nigeria.
